Generally, it has several functions like measuring, display, record/ measuring, control and alarm. The automation instrument itself is a system as well as a subsystem in the whole automatic system. Report of Chinese Medical Instrument Industry under International Financial Crisis, 2009

Instrument

Although the largest medical instrument markets are America, Europe and Japan now in the world, China is generally acknowledged the hugest potential market. In the developed countries, the output values between medical instruments and manufacture are 1: 19. It is only 1: 5 in China. There is a huge potential for medical instrument market in China.

The direction of Chinese medical system reform is fundamentally clear. The government will increase the investment in the constructions of public hygiene systems, community systems in urban areas and rural grass-root medical hygiene systems. It can be predicted that Chinese medical instrument market will be in a period of rapid growth in two to three years.

At present, the overall world faces the serious strikes of financial crisis. But investment opportunities still exist under international financial crisis. Because the developed countries are affected by the international financial crisis, they are bound to reduce the public welfare budgets and they have reached the agreements to find excellent quality and reasonable price substitutes, which provides growth opportunities for Chinese medical instruments.

Report on the Effect of Specially Composed Music for Mother and Child

Music for Mother and Child

Summary of a report on the effect of specially composed music on fetuses, infants, toddlers and parents

“We were just visited by a couple and their 8 months-old girl. At one point during the evening she was restless and distressed. I put on the CD “Tales of the Ocean” from the CD series “Music for Mother & Child”, and she began to listen, and calmed down with her mother. After a short time she was asleep – and my unborn child “danced” in my womb.” (Ann, mother-to-be)

Background and objective

In the summer of 1999 the two musicians and composers, Claus D Jensen and Henrik Birk Aaboe, produced the CD series Music for Mother & Child, which contains music specially composed and designed to calm fetuses, infants, toddlers and parents. In the course of the process henrik and Claus received such exciting responses from people that they decided to undertake a private study of the effect of the music on pregnant women, infants and their parents.

They wanted to study the direct effect on fetus/infant, as well as the indirect effect: whether the music could calm down the parents, and whether the tranquillity of the parents could positively affect or be imparted to the fetus/child.

In addition to studying how the music affected the participants in the study, they wanted information on how often and when the music was used and for how long at a time. The participants were given the CDs and a questionnaire in the form of a checklist with space for supplementary comments.

Weather Report I Sing the Body Electric Jazz Music CD Review

Posted by admin

I Sing The Body Electric is the latest release from Weather Report, and is another winner from this talented group.

Refreshingly, this was one of those CDs I was able to just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish.

I Sing The Body Electric is a pleasantly varied, mix of 7 tracks that are very well written and brilliantly performed songs by these clearly talented musicians. With many of the songs displaying a lot of the kind emotion that makes for a really great listen. Seemingly drawing from what I can only imagine are their own personal experiences. At different points touching on the most real emotions of love, and the pain of failed relationships can certainly be heard.

Overall I Sing The Body Electric is outstanding from beginning to end. One of those CDs that after a few listens the songs are just etched into your memory. A must have for the Jazz fan. Really sensational from beginning to end.

While this entire CD is really very good the truly standout tunes are track 4 – Second Sunday In August, track 5 – Medley, and track 7 – Directions.

My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 1 – Unknown Soldier. Outstanding!

Weather Report Night Passage Jazz Music CD Review

Posted by admin

Richly talented Weather Report have released their latest CD titled Night Passage and Wow! It’s good.

Unfortunately, it’s not everyday that I get a CD for review that I can just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. There is usually a song or two that I just can’t force myself to get through. Not at all the case with Night Passage. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish.

Night Passage has a pleasantly varied, mix of 8 tracks that are very well written and brilliantly performed songs by these clearly superb musicians. With many of the songs displaying a lot of the kind emotion that makes for a really great listen. Clearly drawing from what I can only imagine are their own real life experiences. At different points touching on the most real emotions of love, heartbreak, pain, failed relationships and unattainable romance. They’re all here.

Night Passage is a first rate CD, delivering a little something for everyone. I give it my highest recommendation. It’s quite simply great listening. A must buy for the Jazz fan.

While the entire CD is outstanding some of my favorites are track 3 – Port Of Entry, track 7 – Three Views Of A Secret, and track 8 – Madagascar

My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 1 – Night Passage. Outstanding!
