How To Make Rap Beats – Want To Sound Like The Pros Read This!

Posted by admin

If you want to know how to make rap beats like the pros then it can be hard to find good samples that you can use to make your own tunes.

I mean you can find some samples out there on the webn but more often then not they will be bad quality and if you are into rap music then you will know that the beat is everything.

Well this article will tell you how you can make some classy beats just like the pros do it!

There is a software package called Sonic Producer that will help you to do this and the reason that it is so awesome is because it has a library of beats that you can pick from to make your own jams.

You can make all sorts of rap music from pop to hard gangsta rap and the other cool thing is the fact that you can tap out the beat with your mouse using the software and as you can imagine this enables you to make some very complex and not to mention some cool beats.

The software has also got a FREE trial which is awesome and allows you to test out the library, I mean of course you don’t get full access but even with the trial you will be blown away at the sorts of beats that you can make!

Also even before you get started you can see some previews that the designeer of the software made and they do sound awesome!

Art Blakey Like Someone in Love Jazz Music CD Review

Posted by admin

Not sure what’s happening with me on this one, but it seems like the more I listen to it, the better Like Someone In Love gets. Like Someone In Love put simply is one of Art Blakey’s best CDs to date.

I wish it weren’t the case but, it’s not everyday that I get a CD from an artist that I can just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. There is usually a song or two that I just can’t force myself to get through. Not at all the case with Like Someone In Love. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish.

Jazz music fans will recognize some of the well known guests that have been assembled to play along with Blakey on several of the tracks. Artists like Afred Lion and Rudy Van Gelder just to name a couple.

This is a first rate CD, delivering a little something for everyone. I give it two thumbs up. It’s quite simply great listening. A must buy if you’re even mildly into Jazz music.

While the entire CD is really very good some of my favorites are track 4 – Sleeping Dancer Sleep On, track 3 – Noise In The Attic, and track 6 – Sleeping Dancer Sleep On

My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 1 – Like Someone In Love. This is a great track!

Herbie Hancock Speak Like a Child Jazz Music CD Review

Posted by admin

Speak Like A Child is the latest Jazz CD put out by the richly talented Herbie Hancock who once again has delivered a brilliant collection of tracks. I’m confident Herbie Hancock fans, and Jazz fans alike will be pleased with this one.

Unfortunately, it’s not everyday that I get a CD from an artist that I can just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. There is usually a song or two that I just can’t force myself to get through. Not at all the case with Speak Like A Child. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish.

One of the nicer things about a CD like this is when the talent is this rich even if Jazz isn’t your favorite style you still can’t help but appreciate the greatness of the artist.

If you’re even mildly into Jazz music you’ll enjoy this album. Overall Speak Like A Child is an a great release. I give it my double thumbs up. You will not be disappointed with one single track.

While this entire album is really very good the truly standout tunes are track 5 – Goodbye To Childhood, track 2 – Speak Like A Child, and track 9 – Goodbye To Childhood.

My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 1 – Riot. Good stuff!
