Country Guitar Lessons – Country Music Is All About Passion

Posted by admin

If you like country music and you consider you would like to receive some country guitar lessons, you might want to think about taking them online. As strange as it may seem, interactive guitar lessons are becoming more and more appealing, mainly because they are much more cost effective than spending time in a music studio, and people find them more convenient.

There is no simple way to be taught how to play the guitar. It calls for time and application on your part to get genuinely good at it. You simply have to work at it. But just like everything else in life, the more you get pleasure from what you are doing, the better you will be at it, and the simpler it will be as time goes on. There are various programs that have been prepared to educate people how to play country music that are enjoyable, reasonably priced, and you can start anytime you want.

Most of the legendary country songs tell a story, and they are all about emotion. Learning to play country music is not just about learning what chords to play, it is about making them sound good and communicating with your listeners. It is such a liberating feeling to realize that you are able to sit down with an instrument, and ultimately you won’t have to play someone else’s songs anymore. You will be able to make your own music.  It is feasible to take country guitar lessons from the comfort of your own home.

Gillian Welch Hell Among the Yearlings Country Music CD Review

Posted by admin

Hell Among The Yearlings is the latest Country CD put out by the very talented Gillian Welch who once again has delivered a brilliant collection of tracks. I’m confident Gillian Welch fans, and Country fans alike will be pleased with this one.

Refreshingly, this was one of those CDs I was able to just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish.

One of the refreshingly nice things about this CD is the way all of the participating artists seem to be really enjoying themselves. Combine that with the overall presentation and you’ve got one of Gillian Welch’s most impressive releases ever.

Overall Hell Among The Yearlings is a solid release. Quite possibly Gillian Welch’s best to date. Really sensational from beginning to end. If you’re even mildly into Country music you’ll enjoy this CD.

While this entire CD is really very good the truly standout tunes are track 3 – The Deveil Had A Hold Of Me, track 8 – I’m Not Afraid To Die, and track 11 – Winter’s Come & Go.

My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 11 – Caleb Meyer. Great track!

Hell Among The Yearlings Release Notes:
