Because of the endorsement of TV, radio and print media, pop music has always been the genre with the largest fan base. As a result, pop music download sites have been multiplying by the minute to cater to the music community’s needs.

If you’re the type who scours for obscure artists and gives their songs a chance, you might just get a lot of free stuff from these auction-type downloading sites. On the other hand, those who download popular songs stand to buy them at a price agreed upon by fellow subscribers. Many unique websites also encourage their subscribers to create new content, usually through the art of remixing songs. Music concerts are live performances of singing or instrumental music that is attended by an audience. Music concerts vary in type and content from recitals which are performed by single performer, to musical ensemble such as a music group, band, choir, and orchestra. In music concerts the musicians perform on stages whether in theaters, concert ground, arenas, stadiums, or concert halls. Musicians play in concerts in order to perform for their fans and audience as well as to introduce new songs or musical compositions.Fans usually share similar styles; rock band music fans wear concert t shirts. Although some concerts are held as benefits, most charge a fee ticket and promotional stuff. Fans buy those items as souvenirs of the music. They can be found in all varieties, sizes and styles not just at concert halls, but also in outlets and even online stores.

Whatever music you prefer, classical, rock music, heavy metal, or rap music, in concerts you can enjoy a live performance of your favorite bands and musicians.

Most of the time music concerts are held in tours in different towns or locations over a period of several months or years. Fans taste in music and genre identifies the nature of the musical concerts, nevertheless a particular performer or music band can draw fans sharing the same style, attitude, behavior and dress code. This is exemplified in rock band music enthusiasts who are well known for wearing t shirts which were intended to be promotional items and merchandise for the rock bands in there concerts. Standards is the latest Jazz CD put out by the highly talented Stanley Clarke who once again has delivered a brilliant collection of tracks. I’m confident Stanley Clarke fans, and Jazz fans alike will be pleased with this one.

This one literally grabs your attention right from the start with Lover Man and won’t let go until the very last note of the very last song We Three Kings, which is another great track by the way.

One of the nicer things about a CD like this is when the talent is this rich even if Jazz isn’t your favorite genre you still can’t help but appreciate the greatness of the artist.

Overall Standards is an outstanding release. What I call must have music. I give it two thumbs up and is most definitely a worthy addition to any Jazz collection. Truly an outstanding Jazz CD. One of those that is completely void of any wasted time, as each track is simply superb.

While this entire CD is outstanding some of my favorites are track 2 – Mack The Knife, track 11 – Christmas Time Is Here, and track 12 – We Three Kings

My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 1 – Lover Man. Good stuff!

Reggae music actually has a very long history, possibly a longer history than some other kinds of music. Although it is believed that reggae is derived from many different kinds of music, its exact origins still remain a mystery. However one thing that we can be certain of is that reggae has its origins in the Caribbean, and it has been played there for a very long time. Local people in the Caribbean use this kind of music for both entertainment and for specific purposes. Since becoming popular in the rest of the world, reggae has taken its place at the top of all the types of music that influence many of the world’s population.

In fact, it is quite obvious now that reggae has been used and applied with many different types of music to create new musical genres such as pop, rock and folk music. However, it is quite surprising that even though reggae has very unique characteristics, still they can perfectly merge into other kinds of music very smoothly.
